On Monday, January 8, 2018 the Utah Taxpayers Association held its annual Legislative Outlook Conference at the Grand America Hotel.

With over 150 attendees, plus top leaders discussing tax policy and what citizens and taxpayers can expect during the upcoming legislative session, the Conference was a huge success.

We heard from top lawmakers from both the House of Representatives and Senate, and policy experts on topics to be considered during the 2018 Legislative Session, including:

– Effects of federal tax reform on Utah’s income tax revenue
– Modernizing Utah’s tax code
– How to fund transportation heading into the next 40 years of population growth
