We would like to thank our 2025 Friend of the Taxpayer award winners for their commitment to lowering Utahns’ tax burdens, ensuring fair and equitable taxes, upholding important protections for taxpayers, and supporting sound tax policy and a welcoming economic environment for business.
This year, 61 legislators won the award. We are thrilled to have such strong support for taxpayers within the Utah Legislature, and look forward to continuing this positive trajectory in coming years. Legislators were evaluated based on their floor votes for ten tax-centric bills; those who voted unanimously with the Association’s stated position won the award.
